LAMDA Exams in Musical Theatre
At Theatre Life Academy, we teach private 1:1 and duet lessons to prepare for LAMDA exams. LAMDA provides a structured framework for children to develop their skills in singing and acting. We have achieved 100% success rate with all students who have been entered for LAMDA Exams. This year we have opened our own LAMDA private centre for Theatre Life Academy students.
Lessons in Isle of Dogs, North Finchley and Whetstone
LAMDA students learn essential performance techniques including, vocal projection, diction, articulation and stage presence. Through our teaching, children learn to sing in tune, interpret musical notation and undestand about rhythm and tempo. Children build confidence in their abilities and learn how to present themselves effectively by engaging and captivating their audience.
LAMDA lessons are available at all branches
All children from all academies have the opportunity to participate in private lessons to prepare for their exams. The syllabus is designed to progressively challenge students and help them grow as performers. Children warm up their muscles in their face, learn tongue twisters, learn how to breathe from their diaphragm when singing and they learn emotion and storytelling through song.
